Against the clock

I work best with deadlines but this is one of those times that I wish I didn’t have to cut things quite so close.

My sister is moving out of state in 3 weeks. For the past two years I have owed her a woven shawl for a 50th birthday present. For weeks now I have been crazily spinning, plying, warping and weaving. Will it be done in time? I think so.

Last fall I decided to make a memorial piece for a guild member who died in July. Then, I entered the piece in a gallery for CNCH 2014 . But today is April 5 and I am busy tomorrow and I am too tired tonight and the submission is due April 10 in another city. Will it be done in time? We’ll have to wait and see.
